Hey there!

I’m Anh Truong, a UI/UX designer based in the United States.

My design journey officially began in November 2024 when I enrolled in Springboard; however, my passion for visual storytelling and emotional impact started long before that. I’ve always considered how my design makes people feel, from the mood it creates, the story it tells, and the experience it leaves behind. That drive to create meaningful, engaging experiences is what inspires my work every day.

Before transitioning into design, I began my career as a software engineer. I’ve always loved video games and dreamed of developing one myself, which led me to earn my degree in Computer Science from UNC Charlotte, with a concentration in Robotics, AI, and Gaming. Although the tech job market changed dramatically by the time I graduated, it opened the door for me to explore a new path where I could blend creativity with my technical foundation.

UI/UX became the perfect bridge between both worlds. It lets me combine problem-solving, storytelling, and technology into experiences that truly resonate with users.

I’d describe myself as adventurous and unafraid to take risks, though I do take into consideration every possibility before taking action. Every new challenge feels like a boss battle I’m excited to overcome. I work well both independently and in teams, and I love learning from others just as much as I enjoy guiding and supporting them.

Most of all, I hope to create designs that leave a lasting impression-experiences built with intention, heart, and a bit of personality.
